Thanks for the offer Adam I'm a bit busy at the moment but I might just take you up on that offer. I still can not work out how these sizer things work. I'm not impressed with the priming arms if that's what they are. They don't look like that on helstons web site the ones on there look like they are spring loaded.
I probably need powder and stuff so I could kill two birds with one stone. I guess.

The original Wamadet priming posts work just fine but you do need the seater plug to screw into the top of the press for it to work.

Ah I wondered what the plug thing was for. I'll have a play and see what happens.

Spent a couple of hours working on some 6.5x55 brass with the Wamadet. Me likes very much. I'm a happy bunny.

They are extemely good once set up. When I can get back into my workshop I must dig mine out and set it up for 303 ad 6.5 x 55 to free up the Lee for pistol calibres such as .455 and 9mm Browning Long

Tried the priming arms they work unfortunately the 6.5x55 case mouth is to small to go over the priming arm so I tried it on a .308.
Works fine if I wanted to use it with the 6.5 I would have to machine the stem down I don't really want to do that. I might have a go at making a smaller diameter one.

I had a go at making a 6.5x55 seating stem. I don't know what the piece of material was I picked up but it turned into hard work. Machining the stem down the chips were red hot. I suddenly realized my left hand was stinging when I looked at my hand it is pock marked with red dots were the hot chips were landing. While I was looking at that I noticed smoke starting to rise from the casing. Before I could reach the stop button there was a loud bang and I was plunged into darkness. I think I have burnt the motor out.
I'm having a bad week. Think I need a Holiday. Ouch my hand hurts.

I'll get someone else to do it for me!

Its not a problem I will just finish it off at work to morrow on a proper lathe. I'm keen to find out what kind off material this off cut I picked up is. I am going to have to stop raiding the works scrap bin.

I need a bigger lathe for my home shop this one is not up to the job its OK for model engineering stuff but that's about all. I have stripped it down to its component parts. I am going to take the electrics/boards and the motor in to work to morrow for testing.
