+1 on the Sparc 11 I have one on my 10/22 gallery rifle which I built for lightness on RFM receiver it is great on my practical K22 I have the Vortex razor. I have no association with the manufacturer or distributors but the lifetime no quibble guarantee on these allows a lot of oversight on any minor shortcomings. I know Brookers had a few delay problems getting one of his repaired.

Yeah the vortex warranty seems very appealing

I have just bougt a Vortex Venom Red Dot off one of our vendors on here (Black Rifle) & it makes the shield sight that it is replacing look like an ebay £20 knock off :o
The 4MOA dot Shield sight was genuine as it was supplied by them direct but it's just never been that great at all.

Mounted the Venom on my 1911 LBP today & it is ten times better to aquire the non blurry 3MOA dot that "I" get to choose the brightness of. shakeshout

Pete also has the Viper Red Dot & the new AR Sparc Red Dot in stock on his website & all with the same Vortex waranty & all cheaper than the Shield sight clapclap

Having got both the Shield Red dot and the Vortex Venom, I prefer the shield, the optical quality of the screen is better, and the push buttons to turn the Venom off and on are fiddly.
Careful now/that sort of thing

Just to be awkward I'd through in Holosun red dots too if you're looking at 'mini' sized red dots. I have a 503c on my VZ58 MARS (it also spent some time on my BR99), and I love it! 2-4 years running time from one CR2032 battery, 2MOA central dot with 65MOA out ring, but you can switch a plain dot and the 'Eotech style' reticle, you can have it on auto adjust, (which seems to actually work :o ) or manual, awesome!

I haven't need to find out, and the shield has trundled backwards and forwards on my K22 slide for some time now.
