If its true, and its a big IF, anyone making that video wants their backsides kicking and i'll happily oblige! troutslapping There is a certain RFD near Manchester that's been spreading a similar rumour for a few months now, I'm not sure what he's hoping to achieve but the trip I was planning to his shop when I'm down that way next month has been cancelled and i'll be going to Krankies on the way home instead ****

I've found Magpul E-mags work best of polymer magazines in the magwell adaptor but you still need to do some minor alterations to them. You needs to cut/file the back of the mag like below it order for them to insert properly;

And you may need to file the top of cut in the side of the magazine that the mag latch fits in to make it deeper and allow the mags to catch more easily. I'm sure I did a thread on this somewhere but good luck finding it!

N.B. GI steel and aluminium mags work without any modification

The problem (IMHO) is if enough people talk about/question the legality of a particular class/type of firearm and worse still cast doubt on it, eventually someone will take a closer look or even worse make an 'informed' opinion in the public domain. Remember the infamous Amax whispers that had people all but giving them away for fear of being caught with 'Section 5 components' Same applies to Semi Autos of recent with a marked slump in prices for used Rimfire self loaders.

I do wonder how long it will be before the gutter press pick up this particular story.

Unfortunately not, the rifle was in stock so has the 1:7. It was always going to be a long shot getting a 1:8 or 1:9 barrel anyway as the factory has stopped producing them.

PMed for link. If its the officers own VZ58, unless he also uses it 'at work' I'm not sure how they could force him to do it? Or is the rumour that the police force themselves have bought one?

Truer words never spoken. Our own worst enemy every time is us lot.

Anyway, green AND black works fine.
