They convinced themselves that Obama was going to grab all the guns when he first became President, it didn't happen! Actually a few Federal gun restrictions were allowed to slip under his term.

Obama is a lame duck President at the end of his second term, the Republicans control the upper and lower house so beyond an executive order he hasn't got much room to maneuver.

With good reasons ... He espressed that he would approve legislation that would ban the manufacture, sale and possession of handguns, as Illinois senator, he voted to ban assault weapons, to prohibit gun stores near a school or park, to restrict monthly purchase of handguns. He even try to prevent the claim of self-defence if a non-registred gun is used to protect one's home or person.

So actually, US Shooters & gun owners didn't "convinced themselves" but they looked at his past track record & drew the logical conclusion that the clown is a typical liberal that viceraly hates gun owners & is more concerned by protecting criminals. Hillary Clinton will be no different.

Clinton has stated that the individual has NO RIGHT to self defence, only the STATE has a right to defend itself.

Obama signed the UN gun ban teaty and as for his excutive orders, he may issue them flippantly but the people DO obey them by all accounts.

Since when did the constitution matter to the current junta in the USA - the PO(TU)S only obeys laws that he likes - HE and people like him are the reason the Founding Fathers wrote the 2nd Ammendment.
