Hmmmm.. Thanks folks. Not sure on which way to go. Brother is after a rifle for coyotes anyway so maybe I know what he's getting for his 40th now! A nice Remington SPS Varmintin .243 ought to do nicely :-)

It can be handy to take a spare barrel, in case of emergencies. Old knackered ones have a habit of coming back in brand new condition.
