The top one is my most recent edition being an Arsenal BARR under-folder straight pull in 7.62 x 39.
I have swapped out the Bulgarian hand-guards for Mid West Industry ones and had Oleg from RusMilitary (who I had bought it from) fit a side rail which prevents the under-fold but allows a Mid West side mount to slide on even with the under-fold mechanism in the way.
Like the pics with the wood on and will consider getting a de-ac in a traditional flavour as pushing the limit with the Financial Director (Mrs Z) and local constabulary (do have a spare .223 slot though).
Notice that there are a few pre-owned Saiga around now (none when I was looking).

Thank you, and well spotted.I have a couple of those aluminium "waffle" mags, they were experimental mags intended to be used by VDV paratroopers and are very light as the floorplates and followers are aluminium as well. One of them somehow ended up in the Balkans and has a bit of battlefield graffiti on it.
If you like rare AK mags I managed to aquire a couple of mint condition Bosnian Fleur-de-lis or "Boyscout" mags for the collection a few weeks back, named after the Fleur-de-lis motif stamped into the body of the mag.

Doh!
It is an Israeli Meprolight M-21 self power/Tritium red dot with a bulls eye recticle. Very bright and sometimes have to add the supplied anti-flash filter to lower it's intensity. The alternative triangle recticle would have been better as you can use the point for more accurate placement at distance. It comes with QD mounts/base plate that apparently are factory calibrated before shipping. Still thinking of getting a Kobra though.

No batteries it is a light catcher. The Tritium will run out eventually hopefully when it is in someone's vintage red dot collection.
