Take the other half with you if.
1 You don't want them to known cost of item
2 They may want to take up shooting leaving less £ for number 1

Ovenpaa: :good: :good: My missus was really good for that!

Even our local firearms officer was good at phoning us up and saying we had x number of slots still to fill! :D

I overheard a lad asking which pellets he should buy for taking out a deer. Can't remember which ones the gun shop suggested..............

I heard a member of staff at one shop telling a customer with some considerable glee how he blew the jaw off a fox at 300 yards.

The mum and her son who'd come in for his first fishing rod just turned round and left.

I cannot emphasise enough that whatever we do as shooters it has to be done humanely.

He needs a swift kick in the nuts then. Regardless of what happened or how it is not something to gloat over.

I emailed the owner at some considerable length about the role we have as ambassadors and promised never to go back. I got a long apologetic reply but the member of staff concerned still haunts the place I'm told.

At a clay shoot asks for your rifle and bullets, watch how many people move away from you and let you go first.
Eases up a busy shoot. ;)
Arming the Country, one gun at a time.

Good deals with Paul101, Charlotte the flyer, majordisorder, Charlie Muggins, among others. Thanks everybody.
