Re: Anyone else shoot historic pistol at Bisley?
We have seen an NRA email proposing the same, NRA arranged days to include all 7.3 clubs @ fixed price per person, no individual club bookings, I believe a meeting to discuss is happening on the 14th so it may not be set in stone.StangGT wrote:All we've heard (and we the members have heard NOTHING from the NRA ourselves) is that the NRA want to organise historic pistol, rather than allowing clubs to do it themselves.
Which aint much of an explanation; it's more of a statement of 'we're cancelling it because we can'
The guys that run the club are going in for a meeting with the NRA soon when I'm sure we'll learn more, but right now, all we know is that our club bookings are cancelled, whether we like it or not.

Definitely join the HBSA, be prepared for lots and lots of paperwork & interviews, it's worth it....bradaz11 wrote:does anyone else apart from StrangGT have sec7.3? thinking of starting a small collection and wouldn't mind some advice

Yes, sounds like the meeting went well and hopefully club bookings will be back on the cards and possibly some NRA evening shoots too.
Don't want to pass on any info that's not official so still need to see the updates in writing.

As a total aside, does anyone know what became of the sectioned revolver that used to be in Fultons in the 80s with 6 bullets stuck up the barrel?
