Very nice - the ones without the handles were intended for .303 rifles. I also have a Canadian manufactured one which was originally for the Ross.

If anyone has one with a broken mirror, don't despair. I found our local glass company was able to shape a piece of offcut replacement mirror to fit - good as new.

What amazes me is just how well they were made considering the pressure the manufacturer must have been under to make thousands of these things.

It is amazing. Rifles from pre WW1 are great quality too, with manufacturing skills that aren't seen very often anymore (except perhaps in the 'top end' quality production).
