Well they're both .429 calibre, so just a bit of work with a chamber reamer and a modified bolt...
But would you really gain anything over using "normal" .44 magnums..??

I'm thinking you may have trouble getting a rimless cartridge to extract from a lever action.

With me its not really about 'gaining something'. Fancy something a bit different rather than off the shelf I suppose. I like quirky engineering (on Sunday I'll be shooting 1895SBL 45-70 and 45acp bolt action Armalon carbine at the NRA club day for example). And I'm quite happy to reload for it.
I hadnt realised it was in that too - I only remember it from Sudden Impact. Will have to watch Beverely Hills Cop 2 over the weekend then....

If you want something different to give you a hand loading challenge, then obsolete calibres are the things to go for: the obvious one in lever action is 32-40 . I shoot ,43 Mauser, 310 Cadet, 32-40 Remington Hepburn, 300 Sherwood and a few others.
