Thanks Redcat, so if all else fails I should be able to source an Uberti tube fairly easily.

We had a part fail on the lever action on a Winchester earlier this year, and couldn't find any spares in this country at all. Ended up welding it ourselves and worked perfectly. (Obviously won't work for your situation)
