Okay popped in today to pick cert,to be asked for my old cert, you've got it i said.Ah theres a note from administration asking for it,how long have we had it,since August when I handed in after the nationals at Bisley.' Oh right'a quick discussion goes on,okay just take the new one then.Head back to car to check it over due to previous experience, yep while my LBP is on the pocessed list it does not appear in the conditions. So take it back in 'yeah right enough' he says unfortunately there's no administration in today i'll get them to sort it tomorrow and give you a call.
Okay not kicking the staff on site as their working within nonsense from above but the firearms was predominantly civvy but today three staff in all uniformed officers.

McDonald's staff are also uniformed

Not sure which organisation inspires the greatest confidence - at least in the burger outlet they were stars on their name badge to show that they've attained some level of sentient knowledge of the job they're performing...

Performing is the best description - as in - circus clowns would not get away with some of the antics up here

Do what...!
Why was it left so late?

"counting rounds" - ah, a good way to pass a few hours....NEVER heard of that happening at any renewal before
Was it just S.1 stuff, or S.2 & airgun pellets too?

counting rounds, what about reloads then?? why count them unless to match to what has been bought or is allowed as max, and only an idiot would divvy up more rounds than is allowed to an FEO . I have never been asked to show ammunition in 30 yrs.

Literally counting out every single round?! Or just guesstimating from the number of boxes/clips/magazines to make sure you're not grossly over the limit??

If its individual rounds i'd be tempted to just open the safe and let them crack on while i had a cupper teanews
