Pleased I asked what was happening......

That's just fantastic then, so someone out there knows who you are, where you live and what firearms and ammo you have, really not great! wallhead wallhead wallhead aaarggh

These days, I drop my FAC off at the Police station and then go and pick it up in person when its ready, now for some reason they really aren't keen on me doing this, but I insist for that very reason!!

They don't even send them signed for for god sake troutslapping ..... If they are going to be posted they should send them Special delivery.

I have been doing the exact same thing for several years now, drop it into the reception get a receipt then they call me when it's ready to be collected, I can then check it for any mistakes, it can be handed back for correction, it was once corrected while I waited.

I hear rumours - nothing more - that the head of Durham's licensing department left very recently? Perhaps there's a correlation?

Edinburgh have put my three week wait back to day one.
Even WITH me phoning the day after it was sent in to be told it was received; the woman today could find no record of it!
Just got the "we're very busy you know..." sob story

Will sleep on it, but feel a ccomplaint is due as not the first time this had happpened!
