Just thought, didn't Anschütz make a take down rifle in .22LR, the 520 maybe and there is the Marlin as well as the Ar-7 which is a superb little thing.

So 12/24 is assembled then? I know a collapsing/folding stock would not count as its still "Assembled". But actually dissembled as is not in use does not count I presume?
Its measured at its shortest whilst still functioning. Which is why folding ( still shoots ) stock is different to taken down ( usually not shootable )

Ditto that - I had a lovely one complete with S&B scope and Suhler claw mounts which I sold in a moment of madness to a guy who really didn't deserve it.

Agreed.
One of my big regrets is not buying a 1903 take down complete with S&B and claw mounts when I was offered it 7-8 years ago...

Handi Rifle? single screw to assemble/disassemble, multiple calibres and as it's the same thread as a camera tripod you can get one with a knurled knob so no screwdriver required :)
