I have been in contact with Shell house bullets company this evening and subject to a large order they will obtain the mould and make some 250 grain cast bullets for me at a very good price. All I need now is a good load.

My question is, does the Police allow people to have expanding bullets on their licence for target shooting for the reason of availability of less popular and harder to get calibres?
Does anyone have this condition on their license?

I know a chap that has it on ticket for .22wmr as he can't source non expanding ammo and also another who has expanding on ticket for his .357 underlever so that he can use jacketed bullets (slightly different in law) both only target shoot on a range. So it is possible but I would think quite unlikely with the .375 as the police tend to regard this size calibre as a weapon of mass destruction. One but can ask though.

I have heard of target shooters getting expanding ammunition on leveraction tube feed rifles for safety reasons
