Boxed they are 39.5 x 17 x 17cm (I still have the box), they come with a universal adaptor, US 2 pin connector but 100-240v :)
Also worth looking at are the RCBS Universal Hand Priming Tool and the Hornady Trio case prep unit http://www.manventureoutpost.com/produc ... -Trio.html

How about stocks? Thinking about bringing back one of those bull pup ones for the 10.22?
Re: Holiday in USA what can I legally bring back?
I brought back several hundred rounds of fired brass last year, and it was inspected at the airport security with no issues.
Re: Holiday in USA what can I legally bring back?
The big point I got told coming back from Virginia earlier this year was that, if a scope had an NSN, it was a no -go. So I could bring back a Civi ACOG, but not a military one. Which is identical apart from the NSN.
Go figure.
Go figure.

Which I've done as well, most TSA staff are usually only concerned about actual hazards to flights, but, should they decide to refer you to the DOHS they will take a very different view and you could end up with a free extended holiday with a nice set of orange coveralls or at best be told never to return to the US.River wrote:I brought back several hundred rounds of fired brass last year, and it was inspected at the airport security with no issues.

I've brought back reloading dies, blackpowder equipment and a scope (plain, no mil-dots or nightvision so cannot comment on that) and have had no issues whatsoever. I even brought the scope back in hand-luggage. Sadly, my parents visit the US quite often but are quite finnicky about bringing things home for me (non-shooters, boo
) despite me clearly telling them that it's fine to bring the things I want back in checked luggage.

As I said earlier, there's no problem with Mil Dot scopes, only those with image enhancement or those on the US military list.
I have a friend who has two sons that live in the US, one is in the US Army based at Fort Drum (New York) the other is in Texas, every time she goes over I get her to bring a few things back, it's a great free shipping service :)
Now seriously thinking of going over in September, I can get premium economy (I need the extra space!) on a 787 Dreamliner from Schiphol for about £500 each. if it wasn't for the accommodation and the car hire the savings on the amount of kit I'd like would cover the trip!.

Hoping to bring a few things back.
Vortex Strike Eagle...
Scope Mount...
You've put that hornady powder measure thing in my head, but I'm not sure my case is big enough...
Couple of years ago I bought a 505 scale back and a couple of hundred bullets in my case. Never got stopped or questioned, but I didn't have mountains. Not many shops had 69gr SMK's when I went to look :(
This time I'll be ordering things to a friends house, if he'll let me

Our record is 118Kg, 2,000 Nosler 168s, 1,000 55gr, cast reloading press, 500 Starline 44 brass and God knows what else! :)
4 x 23Kg bags and the rest split between 2 backpacks, using Virgins Downtown Disney check-in you avoid the airport desk so no weighing of your hand luggage :)
