Cheers Alan,
My dad's after a high end scope for benchrest .22lr - it may be overkill, but if I can get him to get hold of one of these, i may be able to pinch it for long range .308 stuff....

I concur about being a bit OTT

but hell if he'll eventually work it out and then give to you, you'd be sorted...

Don't think so, can't focus on the zero range targets at Bisley with mine.

Nope. I couldn't focus on the Bisley zero range either.

Have a look around before buying . There are some good discounts to be had. 10% is the norm. David

I'm also pleased with my Sightron S3. I think you will need a 20 moa sight rail for .308 to get you to 1,000 yds.
