Blu helped out before with the mailing issue around christmas by ringing them a few times.I couldn't ask him to help again, especially if its potentially dodgy ground?

It is NOT dodgy ground as it is under $100 and is a lump of wood. If it was a firing pin or a sight it MIGHT be but it's not. Have you actually asked any odf the European distributors if they can help? I know Edgar Bros won't unless you have retail premises.

I think i may have found a workable solution thanks to another member on here.
I was about to start looking around to email distributors but thought it unlikely they can get a 100 year old part. And I was warned off boyds version as it is supposed to be very flimsy.
