Also the quantity, myself and my fellow shooters could muster a good volley or two from the P53s we have 'tween us.

Yep and a buffalo. I think the buffalo was at 900 yards. Or was it a Bison?
Do you know the difference between a buffalo and a bison....?
You can't wash your hands in a buffalo!!!

In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

The above post probably contains sarcasm or some other form of attempted wit, please don't take it to heart.

Good to see some variety at Bisley and that there is some evidence that it's not all just Target Rifle and F class. Not before time but well done anyway.
Re: Steel Buffalo on Stickledown Range
What load are you using for that- my supernova launches 1 1/8 oz slugs at pretty much bang on 1450fps with Gulandi's maximum load of N320. And that's "enough" of a load for me...meles meles wrote:*Snorts*

Re: Steel Buffalo on Stickledown Range
I wonder if they'll allow regular plinkers to have a go? A SMLE with windage-adjustable rearsight must have a fighting chance of hitting that at least once...
