Not quite what I'd hoped for it has to be said! I managed to get off three rounds with the M44 which were still striking about 18 inches to the left at 100yds but time was short and I had to deal with something else so I've put it off for another day. The best things come to those who wait (apparently...)

Great looking Nagant and in real good condition too.Stand by for the flames... :D

Whatever the Russians use for blacking is obviously very good quality because i've never seen one in bad condition.

Hello , never fear, mine did the same. You will need to tap across the front sight post to zero it , so its not just yours.

Was the bayo IN or OUT ?

Heh - thanks, it's always good to know you're not the only one! I'd already tapped it across quite a way (you should have seen how wide it shot before!) and it looked to be pretty much 'on' with a laser boresight, so I was hoping to be a bit closer to POA this time out. Unfortunately as I mentioned I ended up with very little time so didn't manage any shots with the bayonet extended - I know it makes a difference although I still can't quite work out why! In a perfect world I'd like to get it shooting somewhere near POA with the bayonet folded as it's a bit more practical that way. :)
