I suspect that the use of Lee moulds has contributed greatly to your lack of success.
For instance sticking bullets in the mould is a mechanical problem not a temperature one, the mould is poorly finished and will have burrs on the cavity edges which stop the bullet from dropping, these need removing.
Exact temperature isn't critical for most bullets but it does need to be hot enough and the mould needs to be kept hot too, I find it is better to start with a very hot mould, the sprue puddle takes a long time to cool and then let the mould coll down to a functioning temperature. Consistency of process and a steady cadence are key.
It cannot be that difficult as I manage it quiet successfully to the extent that don't shoot condom bullets any more in any of my guns, I have and use over 300 moulds in my collection. I wouldn't have made that investment if they didn't work.
