Mayfair do run practical shoots on a Monday and rotate through .22's (rifles or LBP's), air pistols and gallery rifles. It's invite only though and I think you'd have to be a member of the club. I've been for .22 and gallery rifle nights but with it being Monday I really just can't be bothered. Plus shooting practical type comps indoors feels 'wrong' to me and in some way constricted.

Bob goes to Ireland a lot so he can shoot proper pistols and revolvers.

Who can blame him, since I have family connections in the Isle of man, I'm off there as soon as I can to do likewise. Might even give the Peveril range a ring next time I'm there.
