Dougan if it takes you a few hours to walk around the "shooting bazar" you must be even more decrepit than I am. lol

Even allowing for pushing my way through the crowd who tend to swarm inside when its raining it doesn't take me more than 20 minutes and that's lingering on each stall. :D

I'll probably end up up spending a few hours around the trade fair, even if it is the same old stuff each year...I've still got a lot to learn about milsurps and find it interesting asking about some of the details and points to note - I've got quite a shopping list this year for reloading, and a few other things if I can get a reasonable deal...and I'll make the same offer to the same trader for an original Buck knife that he's refused for the last three years razz

That's a big shame Mike :bad: ...though it gives me more of chance if the likes of you and Mr Smith aren't competing...

LOL the words 'mr smith' and 'compete' rarely come anywhere near each other. This year i'm really struggling to get much in the way comps shot between family holidays and work. aaarggh

It'll be my first time going to the Phoenix. I'm interested in getting into competitive GR.

Presumably it's ok for a non-competitor to just hang around Melville and watch the different comps? Have a chat, spot what kit people are using etc?

Dougan, doubt I'd have been much of a threat the way I've been shooting lately. Put together a spreadsheet and graphs of my scores over the last couple years, not great reading. wtf

Daman, yes, hang around Melville as much as you like. Remember your eyes and ears. Most folk will happily answer any questions you have.

You're doing your stats all wrong mate...the trick is to only remember the good scores and bin the bad ones ;)

I'm going to have another crack at the 1500...which should be OK, as it's almost impossible not to improve on my last score razz

Right, time to hit the road...hopefully see you at another meeting...
