Alan,
is it a great idea to point out to our insurance company, that we may not have all the documents in place that they require in order to cover us?
I believe we have documents in place, but until I read them I have no idea of how good or up to date they are. Hopefully they are fine

Alan,
is it a great idea to point out to our insurance company, that we may not have all the documents in place that they require in order to cover us?
It's probably better than the other option- wing it, and then when you're looking at a very large claim/payout find that the insurers won't cover you because of a paperwork irregularity.

Might be worth reading a copy of the original insurance contract and talking to an H&S expert to see exactly what paperwork you need before alerting the insurance company.

Just do the risk assessment from the samples you have been sent and leave it at that.
