Well I'm one of there customers the brake is good quality there service was great and I'd buy another if I needed one. Tony s on here has my old gun he's happy

I have one on the boys .308 fantastic, I also then purchased another for my old .260 again fantastic.
I would recommend them, delivery was within a couple of weeks, don't believe all of the hype.

I have one of their brakes in .30cal 18x1, though it gets used on a variety rifles (nothing bigger than .30 dur.



It's a perfectly good bit of kit.

I had a stock from them too, amongst other bits. I've heard the nightmares, though I haven't had any problems myself.

This was the prototype machined from light metal for a .308WIN, nearly two years ago. (Anodised by the Viking) This brake has been running well for several hundred rounds now and is the culmination of a series of designs and I can safely say it is a ground up UK design as opposed to a copy of something off the internet. The ports are angled very specifically with some internal relief's as well as a reamed bore and I have the original design calculations sitting alongside me right now.

I am going to machine a small run in stainless and carbon piloted for final screw cutting. They are not 'universal' type brakes due to the internal design features so will only be available in limited sizes.

Interesting looking design, I didn't know you needed to proof muzzle brakes.

I just got off the phone with Mike at Dolphin today about a Muzzle Brake for my .300 Win Mag.

Was very impressed with his knowledge and evident care. Bottom line they will want my rifle and £140 all up.

Bit more than I thought but probably worth it.

Thank for the advice and the pic, see you went for the blued finish, rather than the CrN to match you barrel, how come? I have the stainless barrel, but am trying to decide which to go for - any chance you could post a pick of the rifle so I could see how it looks please?

OK, after reading comments on this thread and on other forums decided any issues with Rodale seemed to be related to them doing works and not supplying off the shelf products, so I decided to go ahead and take a chance and order a muzzle brake, and also coz I really like to look of them and wanted one! - though I would let you know of my experience, which is as follows:-

11 May - Ordered item via website
11 May - website states "packaged and Ready for Delivery"
13 May - Item posted
19 May - Item received, as ordered

So overall I am one happy customer razz it looks well made - just need to try it at the range!
