So they're on the brink of bringing in a massively complex and unwieldy airgun licensing system, and here they are slashing FEO numbers to the bone. Stupid little national socialists.

Funnily enough the same mentality in part aiding 6 Million Jews killed, god knows how many Russians, Chinese, Cambodians, Armenians, etc.

Before anyone says I'm going too far with that comment, its what can happen with an indifferent set of bureaucrats.

Will that be by the time they've got their EU funded "Independent" Utopia? This is what you get from crap governments who can't get anyone's support anymore, they do what they can to get power. Problem is we're atleast 20 years away from having a realignment like the Canucks did (though the have more legal stuff than we do and they have more gun owners and people sympathetic them, which we don't). Its crazy. I'd suggest anyone with an FAC in Scotland if they hear talk of the SNP getting more powers related to firearms in Scotland to consider becoming a refugee and fleeing south of the border at least.

We seem to be reaching that point that Ben Franklin once remarked on, where a system has too many takers at both ends no good resolution is going to come anymore. I can not understand why the conservatives wan't to give more powers to Wales either. They had some good arguments against devolution, but sadly didn't bother to use them. Thought in too many abstract terms, when the best one would have been, which do you want money spent on. Politicians or healthcare? It never occurred to them to do that. Now we're stuck and they've given up the ghost and decided to hand out powers like Sweeties.

They already have the some of the powers, but with a majority of MPs from the SNP they will push for more, recreational shooting in Scotland will be finished.

Just watched the Fish on the BBC this morning, she is a dangerous woman who will take great joy in saying the SNP made Scotland a safer place by banning the private ownership of firearms, just like the Green Party want to do.

Its a given that it is, just so sad that is there is much acceptance of fate here. I guess a drowning man who knows he is drowning goes best than who denies it. Best thing to do is keep sending letters, lobbying and trying to win hearts and minds. The other option is accept the socialist hell that the SNP want to create and start removing yourself from Scotland as soon as possible (I guess all that emigration in the 19th & 20th centuries robbed Scotland of its best to begin, might as well finish the job).

That was more of a joke Dromia come on. Hell I've heard some people say the First World War robbed Rotherham near me of many good men (I still think the uk as a whole has never recovered fully from that and the whammy of world war 2). I've tried to come up with all sources to explain how we got this far and into this mess and only one thing comes to mind. There is a bit in Men in Black one where K explains that the reason they don't tell the world there is Aliens is due to groups of people panicking. "People are smart, groups of people are not". It could be a form of group with way too many incoherent grievances have banded together in a fit of the largest incoherence known to man to vote for everything that goes against their own interest. Its happened before, how else do you explain, how Rome, Egypt, Ancient Greece and many other civilizations fell? Maybe they lost their nerve and in a fit of insanity made the decision that ended it all. And while this was happening there were concerned onlookers who knew what the end result would be, but were powerless to do nothing. Does that sound familiar to you? Certainly Mass Emigration in that time period affected both the Republic and Northern Ireland.

So if I offended you or anyone else, sorry. If you recognize any of the other stuff I mentioned, then we're all and not just gunowners in deeper proverbial than I thought. At the same times its better we get our thoughts on these matters out in the open. Certainly makes me feel less like I'm holding it in. I don't want to see gunowners in any part of the UK screwed over either.

Why are the SNP so anti gun.
