No, most certainly not...
I stand corrected. I've had some.... interesting... experiences with him...

A firearms marker indicates you are a criminal where there is reason to link you to firearms.
Should you ever get stopped by police who state that you were stopped because of a firearms marker, seriously think about making an official complaint. If you they are carrying firearms think about compensation.
A car registration should not be linked to your fac.

I thought merely by joining rifle clubs we all got criminal records - sorry, PNC entries - and these had all sorts of bells and whistles on them to tell beat cops This One Might Be Dangerous?

Gaz , your last post is probably ment in jest but is not up to your well researched normal.

To do so would be a breach of the regulations that protect us and is the reason that many resent the PNC being used to document us as FAC holders. It is only used as it is a system that is nation wide and can be accessed by all police forces. It is not suitable for purpose and could lead to miss understanding by use

And it would never ever be deliberately misused...

Financial recompense for the trauma of coming face to face with an armed maniac who thinks he's above the law.

That's our take on what he means...

"You" is a typo.

I was going to type, if they point a firearm at you,

Either way, I would be extremely peeved. I know of one person who complained when it happened to him twice, both times on the same bit of road. I believe that he successfully sued the force.
