I worked out the cost per year once, two of us in 4 clubs, came to a lot more than I thought it would and that was with reloading all the more costly stuff and buying the powder/primers/bullets in bulk!
I seem to remember tearing it up and promising myself never to do it again

Simple answer... not as much as I'd like...!!
I try to get to the range at least once a month. Family and business trips account for most other weekends.
On top of that I try to get to Bisley a couple of times a year, for one of the action weekends and Phoenix.

I shoot .22lr target rifle 3 times a week, airguns on a Sunday, and clays - weather permitting - on a Wednesday, so I put 16 but it could be more/less depending on circumstances.

Gallery Rifle several times a month including practice. Competitions from Aberdeen to Bisley. Spot of PSG for fun during the week and some full bore when I sort my reloading out for it.

Mini rifle every Monday night, PSG practise once a month at one range, mini rifle or PSG every other month at diggle.
Soon to be at least one extra range day a month once our junior section gets sorted, I'll take my son up to that.
Also getting most Mondays on the range at work due to an impending competition. (Average of 4- 500rds a day)

Every thursday night and if I can a week day as well along with PSG, Mini Rifle and Steel Challenge matches at weekends, usually one a month.
I would shoot more but I'm too busy with a young family, running a business, training for a fantastic job opportunity. Oh, and building a new range for my club!

4/5 nights a month indoor Gallery Rifle (SB and CF)
2 days a month full-bore; March to October (TR and/or Classic)
3 main meetings a year (GR and Classic)
2/3 Long Range Rimfire competitions a year

As often as I can get away with, but it has to be constructive practice to make it worthwhile.
In reality I will often not shoot a club morning/day if there is a comp the same weekend. Club practice days are fun, personal practice sessions are usually shared with a couple of other shooters so we can use hand helds etc.
IF you go with a clear plan of what you want/need to achieve you can make best use of ammo/time. I hate seeing an empty firing point.
In reality this translates to 4-5 days a month. I only shoot 556/30 cals so it has to be the NSC.
If I can get away with it I tend to nab a target with a few others prior to a CSR match to check zero or practice falling in the mud.

Go to the range 2 or 3 times a month. Shoot rabbits when I can't get to the range and clays every couple of months.
Just can't afford to go more often at the moment.
