That's it sorted then. We'll toddle off down to Bisley this Friday with our M28/76 and CG 63. Should we take a shotgun too do you think?

Can we have it at Bisley to ensure maximum inconvenience for the majority of interested shooters, please??
Been wanting to do a similar day out for a while, for users of things Swedish
So what's stopping you organising a shoot for all things Swedish?

I could well be there too. What distances are you shooting? How do I spot a badger?

We're striped, ooman, not spotted...
We're discussing it with the sputniks, but it's probably going to be 300 mards...

Nothing stopping me...just getting the ancillary kit sorted out first (correct-to-period Swedish targets printed, other similar accessories made up, etc.)
To satisfy everybody, I may hold it at my clubs 500m range...only 45 minutes north of Edinburgh in Perthshire: as it's not MoD/Landmarc so less prone to cancellations through double booking...though the weather is another question.
The range dates back to the Volunteer Rifles days & is now run as a consortium by 3 clubs.

Hi All,
Alan: I'll be reloading soon... just got to get all the kit, other things have got in the way...
The tip is just black.
The RFD has around 80 left.
I could use them up at Bisley Saturday next, just to brighten up the markers day. ( only joking )

So, Sunday, fired first shot (25yrds) and most impressed as it went just about where I wanted it, recoil was loads less than privi.
Second shot also well placed but..
The sand bunker lit up like a flare!
Sent another to join it just in case it was a one off. Nope, I had a pack of tracer which meant I had to stop shooting it.
So, my question is: Where can I shoot tracer?
Also, is the burny stuff on the outside of the bullet? ( the black paint on tip? )
If so can I remove it easily?
Mark
Ah, so it was you...!!
I was down the other end of the line, and through my electronic muffs i could hear this crackling noise on a couple of occasions.... someone mentioned tracer, but I didn't see it...
I had a similar day a few weeks ago... went down with some mil-surp 5.56 and fired it through my M4... after the first 4 rnds, all very hard extractions, (to the extent I had to remove the mag, put the butt on the bench and lean on the charging handle), I gave up.
