I bid on the Schmidt ZFK 55 sniper rifle. Estimate £1200 to £1600.
I bid £1600 which would have been about £2k if I won.
I know full well these are very collectible and fetch big money in the US, typically 8 to 10000 dollars.
I don't recall seeing any for sale in the UK in the past 20 years or so.
Any way it sold for £2600 plus commission which would make it about £3500.
Probably a bargain. Although it did have the scope carry case missing.
One of my buddies won one of the K31`s for £280 which was pretty good although I haven't seen it yet.

I did manage to win some once fired 7*65Rcases recently though not exactly at a bargin price, I was slightly shocked to be told postage would be £26 as they were "ammunition" luckily sense prevailed and they said ok £10 but that doesn't appear to be for next day delivery.
I was amused to see 5 rounds of Kynamco .318" WR being listed at £30, this is more than WR charge themselves..

I managed to get some 297/230 ammo in the sealed bid, the couple I have tried go bang.
