I confirm that Amarlon still very much trade as a company and produce some excellent products, its just the AL42 that he no longer makes/sells.

Bugger. That rifle is lovely and I'd already started mentally making room for it in my cabinets. Sell a rem 700 outfit, a sako 75 and I would have been in with a shout.
Pictures taken at Pete's range at Parton I think?

Wentworth sporting in Nottingham have one I sold them some time back. Beautiful rifle.
