I load in our garage and leave most things out during the summer, but bring everything that can rust indoors (apart from the presses which get well oiled) through the winter...it's not much hassle to just gather what I need and take it back out to the garage for the few occasions I load in the winter.

Thanks all.

I think I'll just keep the dies and other small rusting things in an ammo tin (which is brand new and airtight) along with some dessicant.

On the same subject I could do with something for my lathe and mill, any suggestions?

I use ASDA multi spray penetrating fluid, at £2 a can it is good value and it leaves a protective coating on metal.

I have used it for years to protect my dies and have never had a rust problem.

My reloading den is in the basement, I have a dehumidifier going 24/7 and to date never had a problem with rust on any of my dies.
