The Sissi Troop are a 'stay behind' force whose role is to go underground in the advent of a Russian attack, then emerge after the first echelons have passed by and wreak havoc in the rear areas...

I guess the word has it's origins... Makes sense, a bit like the Wolverines, effectively a guerrilla warfare task force.

Oh indeed it does: Sissi derives from a Suomi root, sisu, that can mean 'lionheart' or 'indomitable spirit' dependent upon context
