Its an H83 (or H85...I forget and cant be arsed to look) but you will probably see it embossed on one end.
Few boxes have any pure designation these days as they are all designed to "fit together" as a standard load to fit the standard pallettised transport systems (Drops, JCB forklifts etc) and it is cheaper. There are Yank, German and god knows what equivelent but they all do the same thing. They also need to fit things like load trays on AFVs, Door guns etc.
You will often find them where they have been overpainted several times. The different fillings are catered for by the internal packing which is usually discarded by the time we see them.
Many are designed to be sub packed into other containers for handling (the 200rd belt tins are usually sandwitched between 2 plates with handles that ake 4 tins and take about the same room as 20 H83s...or H85s

I have seen everything from ISFEs to Flash bangs packed in these tins, they are pretty universal.
Are the collectable? Yes, there is a collection of them in my garage holding all my reloading dies etc
