Joe, I'd suggest speaking to ovenpaa on here. He drilled & tapped my extended bolt release on my M2 for me. A nice modification you might consider getting done whilst you do the rail.

Drilling & tapping holes was week one of my apprenticeship - as an electrical fitter - so it ain't technical by a wide margin.
Cheap rail? Benelli USA, ShotgunWorld forum, ARFcom forum, Italy, etc. Anywhere but the UK importers really...
got off the phone to mesa tactical benelli rail is $45 and postage is $40
:cool2: thats £50! for a poxy bit metal that cost £5 to make!

Doubt it's be $40 though - and Brownells was the first site I had a look on.
im looking on the brownells site now found it mesa rail for the m2 $39 shipping to confirmed though
for the info seems cheaper then the others

I've always used Fultons for repairs and servicing (my SMLE is with them now), and have always been happy with their work - And they're not always as expensive as folk make out...as for the customer service sometimes...well that's just part of the charm of Bisley razz

I had a 308 checked before a private purchase, no charge, various bits for No4 which were cheaper there than getting them posted, replaced the barrel on my No4mk2, and given me some useful advice.
Always found then pleasant, but not exactly quick, but I'd much prefer someone takes time rather than rush a job.
Probably not the cheapest but I'd use them again.

Always been good, within a couple of quid of HPS etc done a good job, willing to negotiate on major purchases but not if you take the pi$$........ some times characterful & entertaining service but hey its Bisley & that's what's great about the place.
If you take in a broken rifle then they will tell you what they think of you if you broke it! & in most cases deservedly so.
