This one was made at the Chicopee Falls Hill Plant in Massachusetts which, as we all know, later morphed into the Savage plant - purveyors of the Lee Enfield No4 during WW2. The civil guard stamp even tells you which district it served in before the Civil guard was disbanded.
No, not yet, we're hoping to do so this weekend. We've stroked it a lot though.
We'll check it chambers milsurp on Sunday and see how it does with that, then we'll contemplate a paw load for enhanced accuracy.
