Not deliberately no, I just use a Lee pistol die set to size the cases, expand them and then seat the projectile.

After casting your boolits you need to push through a sizer die to the size that suits your rifle - in the case of a .357 Mag I size to .358"
A Lyman or (better) RCBS lube-sizer would be beneficial or perhaps a Lee sizer kit which requires the use of a liquid lube eg Lee Liquid Alox or 45/45/10.
I suggest you get a book and research the process.

do you need to size bought cast boolits then? i thought the sort being discussed that already have a wax type lube on them were ok to use as they come?

No - they will be sized to .357" and lubed probably on a Magma automatic lube-sizer

(OP's 2nd post in thread states they already have the blue lube ring on them)

The best advice I can give is burn the Lee book and get a decent manual especially when it comes to cast boolits.
