Northumbria are black and white. Look quite cheap compared to some I've seen from other constabularies.

Right - but no Bucks then as I suspected, although TVP have merged some functions with Hampshire.

Met issued ones are certainly colour photograph and logo for both FAC Form 202 and SGC Form 204.

Paper is watermarked and also pre-printed with wavy lines of text saying HOME OFFICE and the Royal Crest SGC printing is yellow leaving text in white and FAC light blue.

I did copies of my previous ones using my own scanner and printer - apart from the 2mm border around the edge it was almost impossible to know they were copies, so I did annotate them as such.

If they are in black and white that's quite worrying they would be very easy to copy with some of the soft ware available today you could even copy a colour one if you were so inclined I guess.

My new Herts & Beds FAC is marked "Firearms Form 102" in the top right.

It is a B&W printing on coloured/watermarked paper.

Just checked in daylight and my FAC and picture is all printed in black on a pale green paper with a logo/watermark on it.

Mine's hand-written with a quill pen on watermarked 160 gsm waterproof, plasticised card stock with a sealing wax monogram stamp and ribbon - together with a hologram bottom left. It's also bar/QR-code scannable (giving 40% discount at Brownells) and, as a bonus, was hand-delivered by a tanned and oiled maiden wearing nothing but a grass skirt. Honest.

So: Application for FAC and/or SGC is Form 201

Variation is Form 202

An FAC is Form 202

An SGC is Form 204

Someone somewhere has got their numbering sequence messed up.
