Just keep in mind that $200 is going to be closer to $500 by the time it gets to you, might even be more than that.

Still a hell of a lot cheaper than the going rate in the UK of around £6-900

I can vouch for Brian as a man of his word. I have purchased several firearms from him over the years and some Lee Enfield related parts. Another possible export source is Simpsons Ltd. They are a major importer of European based firearms to the U.S. so I imagine they can export also.

I've done it several times in the past and have one going through at the moment with only a minor hiccup.
Remember there is the $250 export paperwork filing fee as well as postage and shipper's expenses which can be high, then import fees this end. It might still be cheaper than getting one over here especially in the condition you say it is, but only you know how much it will be worth to you.
You could be paying 3 times what the rifle costs. Still, with the exchange rate as it is....

I'm thinking about doing a couple of personal imports to fill a couple of empty slots, and I wondered if anyone who has done a personal import can let me know what the shipping cost was?
I'm actually thinking about importing 3 rifles, maybe 4..

You need to find an exporter, they should be able to tell you a ball-park figure based on previous shipments, especially if you add in the document and other fees.
I have found it can vary a huge amount the most expensive was just over $1000 for a single rifle (included a charge of a % of the sale value of the rifle)

I have an exporter which I'm using for accessories and controlled parts, who can ship firearms as well. Just wondered what costs had been for people who had done it..

Is there any way that those that are, or have exported items to the UK could perhaps consolidate this into a simple process using just one point of contact in the US so that FBUKers have a route to do this themselves if they wish??????
