Wouldn't it be quicker just to pick up the phone and speak to Norman first hand?the running man wrote:Apparently Norman Clark and Neil parnum witnessed it or knows who did.....I might try the local cops for a freedom of information request....
It is a very accurate statement if applied to the Imperial, the Phoenix is booked through a different source. Trade prices were hoiked excessively for the Imperial meeting and then reduced at the 11th hour, far too late for many trade members to reverse decisions and even then they were up on last years prices. The CLA was cited by the NRA as a cost comparison however there is a subtle difference in that the CLA were guaranteeing a footfall of 50k over the show, the Imperial as mush as I like it is not going to see 50,000 people. The Cupcake Kid wrote:I doubt the accuracy of this statement, having read the minutes of the NRA BGM and the discussion over trade tent charges at The Imperial.Fedaykin wrote: The RFD was also fairly angry about the treatment of people trading at the show and the costs. Apparently for the same price she paid for Phoenix she could of had more then one stand at the CLA.
I would think the CLA is WELL north of 50k (knocking on triple that rings a bell); for comparison I've heard a small stall at the CLA this year was around £1500 for 3 days (plus extras).ovenpaa wrote:The CLA was cited by the NRA as a cost comparison however there is a subtle difference in that the CLA were guaranteeing a footfall of 50k over the show, the Imperial as mush as I like it is not going to see 50,000 people.
Where does "conveying" end and "spreading rumours" start ?Fedaykin wrote:Only conveying what I was told, not taking any sides.
Depends which "side" you're on I would guess.breacher wrote:Where does "conveying" end and "spreading rumours" start ?Fedaykin wrote:Only conveying what I was told, not taking any sides.
