Several
Main press is a Ponsness Warren 375 Du-O-Matic.
It's a
great press...my only very
very minor niggle is that it is not fitted with the "C" dies, which give a better taper crimp to finished hulls.
A set of these dies are on my list of things to pick up on my travels as & when I get the opportunity. I can also add other die sets to the press so it's dialled in for 2 calibers at once & only needs about 5 minutes to switch from one to the other.
Also use a MEC Sizemaster....and a RCBS Mini Grand....as both of these, esp. the RCBS, allow me to add a nice taper crimp to the finished hulls that I produce on the P~W.
Aside from them I have several sets of RCBS single stage shotshell dies (12-ga & 10-ga for normal plastic shotshells, plus the 12-ga all-brass-CBC-shotshell), a Redding #16, a couple of Lyman Grand Americans & a Lee Loader or two.
May have another couple of presses that I've forgotten about
Tried others in the past.
Basic MEC 650 are ok, but the Sizemaster unit is MUCH better at not much more money.
The Pacific/Hornady 366 was a p.o.s., could never get it to do what I wanted...
Never tried the Lee Loadall but hear that they do the job

My presses are two pre 82 mec 600s that I picked up for 45 quid the pair. Needed a good clean and a few bits missing but should be still bargainous. Going to get the variable charge bars though, and probably convert one to small gauge, once I've got one of those.
Phaedra- Roll or star crimp on those?

Tried a roll crimp hand tool but not good with arthritis!. I just use the star crimp on the press, gives a nice finish, the Siarm slugs are just the right height for crimping.

Siarm sounds promising then!
Where did you get/derive that load from Phaedra? Seems slug recipes are thin on the ground.

That's why it's best to use reloading manuals, downloadable pdf charts from powder manufacturers, dedicated slug shooter forums, etc.
LOTS of recipes out there...

I've seen some (mostly hodgdon, annoyingly not Vhit which is my preference).
The big question with it (and I should probably have phrased my last post to reflect this) is how specific the recipes are wrt exact slug choice (assuming the same weight slug)?
Edit: Found the slug loading manual, will get one ordered.

Bingo.
Got the Ballistic Products Slug Loading Manual, identified that what they call "dangerous game slugs" are in fact Gualandi slugs sold by Siarm. Note Gualandi have lots of nice (ie. european powder data) but roll crimp only. Ballistic products manual has fold crimp data for the DGS/gualandi slugs with reasonably available powders, and also talks about roll/fold crimp differences. Need to investigate the substitution possibilities there, but why bother really?
Order for 500 slugs/500 Fiocchi primed cases gone to Siarm. Will pick up powder later. smile2

"But why bother. ..?"
FAC conditioned for hunting ammo in 12-bore?
The dangerous game slugs are a hollow point design, so that they expand in "dangerous game".
....this could get interesting

An interesting point.
However, it does not appear to be hollowpoint, nor "designed or adapted to expand"?
