I managed to pick up an Armi San Marco double hammer gun, with 24" barrels. As close to a coach gun as I can get on s2 and another little sxs...
I've always fancied a double hammer gun...mmmmm

My little M67 Kongsberg only cost me £100. A bit of TLC and a good clean and it served me well in F/TR when I was getting into it.
Fully serviceable as a TR (hand stop, PH sight etc) and robust as you like.
It wont be going anywhere, its just not worth selling it and it does get shot fairly regularly.

My marlin 39 was £100 from gunstar. Still not quite sure how I managed that.
BSA martinis are still available at 100 and under from a lot of older club shooters. Dammed fine rifles, just unfashionable.

Does the Johnsons baby variety work well ? Because I thought if it does , it would be cheaper than re bluing .

If you find a good one at that price buy it, or tell me and I will, cos they are getting rarer and prices are going up! The amount of gunshops I go in looking for a greener gp shotgun only to be told "they go for about £80 mate" yeah, double it and you may get somewhere.

My father picked up a Winchester 57 for £25 a few years ago - It's a lovely little rifle, which was well made (especially for 1926) and has some really nice features like its short 5 round magazine and simple mag-release...
...I like having a plink with it, and have been looking for the original Lyman rear sight...but it would cost 5 times what the rifle did...

A chap up West Atholl way was advertising a half dozen MkIIs at £100 each recently.
