Is that what it is? really! Everytime I've played by H.M Customs rule book I've been hammered a lot more than a mere 1.7% on used goods,. They happily add the postage charge on top too, infact they do what ever they want and Joe Bloggs gets ripped off again!

Anyhow, if you ever decide to import a used knife costing hundreds of pounds from the USA please do have it clearly labelled up as a ' Second hand Commando Knife' with the full value displayed. I'd be very interested if you ever get to see it and if you did, what extra charges they slapped on top. I'll carry on using my system. You chaps can be above board and pay the charges.
Each to their own, I'll take my chances in the real world.
