I don't think i could do something as sensible as using it as fertiliser :lol: I pulled a box of 9mm before Christmas and have to say was impressed and surprised (good job i was outside
) at how tall the flame went and how long it burned for! Bright blue/green column of flame about a 4ft high for about 2-3 seconds

When I was scuba diving off Lyme Regis we used to find spent .50cal cases. One day I found a live one. Took it home and left it on the kitchen window sill. Wasn't till after I got into shooting that I realised it was live (had assumed the sea water had made it defunct). Anyway, decided to take the bullet off and remove the powder. Did the cowboy trick with a long lit stick. Took ages to get going and even when it did it only spluttered.
Have done the same thing more recently with spilt powder, and that goes a little better!
As long as your in the open with nothing near by and your not doing loads of it, burning isn't really a problem, it doesn't explode just burns quickly.

Never have this problem,problem i have is getting enough powder and bullets to shoot.
