L85A2. Even in straight pull.

Ultra-accurate. Ultra-reliable.

I'd go for an Accuracy International AT - with a spare .260 barrel if that's not cheating :good:

An early AI/AE with a reasonable S&B PMII on it.

Tough choice.

Either an AIAE.....308 is a really versatile round and the gun is nearly perfect.

Or. And here's the contentious bit

A Southen Gun Company 9mm Lever Release. ( the Uzi MSG version with the 16" barrell"
Its just a great all rounder.

I've fallen out of love with rifles of late, mainly due to a lack of competitive shooting/use, so i'd prefer to only have one of my S1 shotguns, but if i had to pick one of my rifles it would be my GSG-5 as at least i use that for mini-rifle comps bangbang

I'm thinking a DTA with 223, 308 and 260 barrels, which should tick most boxes.

As a total noob who doesn't even have a cert yet, I'm drawn to something like a Sako TRG-22... But I know nothing!

Over to you...
Hi

That's a bit like saying if you could only pick one tool from a toolbox. You might go for an adjustable ratchet, great for bolts but you'd probably struggle to drive screws with it. The same situation exists in shooting. A 22 semi may be great for indoor 25-100yds but rubbish after that (unless you are MiLisCer! :good: ). An AI in 338 is great for longer distance but try doing CSR with it, wouldn't go down well and night well be over the range limits.

What you need to do is to work out what sort of shooting you want to do then pick a rifle for that discipline.
