Rust

Can anyone recommend a good product to prevent rust, preferably non oily? I remember years ago I heard about a spray that people use on motorbikes which was supposed to be very good, but I don’t remember what it was called.

I bought old muzzle loading pistol, which although cheap, came with free rust. Any suggestions?

The stuff I used to use on my bikes (and used a lot of in Germany) was 'ACF50'

spray on, clean off after winter.

However for guns, may i recommend Froglube?

I've ordered some Froglube to treat my MLP, and am also thinking of using on my .223 and .308. Once the guns have been treated, do you still clean the bores with your usual cleaners such as wipe-out, sweets, or whatever, or are you supposed to just use a little froglube?
