You might not of bought that kit, ooman, but we have bought that kit. [/pedantry]
I hope your new purchase lives up to your expectations. Your money not mine may you have lots of happy hours churning out paw loads with it.

The RCBS hand priming tool is pants. But just my opinion other people think they are the dogs bo...cks I just use the one on the press and a original Lee hand held jobby. I bought one of the new Lee versions absolute pap I would not give it to my worst enemy.

We've ordered the RCBS Rock Chucker Master Supreme kit from JD
Good choice there, far superior to that cheap Lee pi$h. Oh and don't worry about the hand primer, it'll outlive you no problem, that's how well it's made. Lee dies are not a bad starting off die but I'll wager you'll change brands as you gain experience. They're okay but you get what you pay for.

The RCBS priming tool is very good. The problem you had Dave was that you had assembled yours wrongly, I'm still using it and has been working flawlessly after I reassembled it correctly.

Adam which one do you have, the new one that doesn't need the shell holder or the old type with shell holder. I snagged two of the new ones of Evilbay when they first came out for a very reasonable price. I have one set up for large primers and one for small primers. Great pieces of kit.

Well done, old luv, you’ve bought some good kit there. The press will last forever. The scales are accurate and the hand priming tool gives a good “feel” when seating a primer. The one addition I made to the kit was a trickler.
The only downside is, you are going to have to kiss goodbye to your hibernation!

George. I have the older shell holder type, I also have two, one courtesy of Alpha1, set up for small and large primers. As you say cracking kit and so easy on the old arthritic hands.

I also have the older one, same body, but only takes one primer at a time, no tray.

Nice for a leisurely change of pace.

:good: Good stuff mate. For a leisurely change of pace I'll use the old primer rod for the rockchucker, have had it set up for christ knows how many years and it still works great.

Hey Badger, guess who has a spare RCBS trickler sitting on their reloading bench doing nowt? If you want it pm me your address and I'll chuck it in the mail to you FOC. Or you can go buy one if you don't want to wait for it. That's if you don't have one already, no big deal either way old son.

The Chargemaster is the only trickler/dispenser you will ever need.

Adam, are you referring to the RCBS Chargemaster?
