Did you source your HERA in the UK or direct from manufacturer.

UK mate C&G firearms have them in stock , the standard ar style will run about 1800 the extended handguard which i got is 1900 and you can get one with an 18" match barrel for about 2300

Well that's not cheaper than a Lantac TCR Raven, which start at £1560-.

And it has a side charging handle so will keep it money better. It's a limited market place for a t bar cocking ar and typically they fetch £700-800 second there was one in my local gun for months at that price.

i didnt want one with a side charger so it stays more original , there's no reason why i couldn't fit a side handle to it but frankly .... i dont need to

A side charger means that the side of the upper needs to machined, but also it demands an upper made without the FA, case deflector or dust cover assembly. If you wanted a side charger in the future it'd probably be more cost effective to just buy a whole complete upper.

The t bar was designed to be used once in the morning, I appreciate it looks more original but it's just not ver practical and not many people want them. It would be a hard sell as most would want to change the upper.

why do you rekon you need to do all that , just a new bolt is required

you should be able to see the difference now and why you need to change the upper the bole would be fine.

so what your saying is rather than getting a bolt with a finger bar like and ak or simply drilling and tapping the original bolt for a handle . you would rather spend alot more money on a new upper and have to rebuild the rifle
