What this petition tells me is that their is a small percentage of shooters in the UK who would like to own and shoot hand guns.
The rest of the shooting community are not interested in owning or shooting hand guns otherwise they would of signed the petition.
You insulting people or calling people A holes is not going to change that you just show your ignorance.
I wasn't insulting people in general, I was insulting you specifically. Just because folks may not be interested in shooting pistols again does that mean they can't support the people who who would like to? United you stand or divided your conquered if there is ever another gun grab. You say that it may show that people are not interested, fair enough but it may also show that folks are quite happy to let others do the work for them and reap the benefits or that the word isn't getting put out there widely enough.
We already know your stance on this so please don't waste any more time with your selfish I'm all right jack BS. You've stated you're not interested, fine then leave it alone because I'm not going to waste any more of my time reading what you have to say because you really have nothing to say.

What this tells me is hardly anyone has seen or heard of this petition. That number is so low, it can't mean anything else.

All of the guys I shoot with have seen it we have discussed it on the range I have received emails bringing it to my attention. I signed it.
Whether the rest of the Guys signed it I don't know. Its got a long way to go before it reaches 100 thousand signatures.

Don't worry guys Fire arms UK is on its case.
https://www.facebook.com/firearmsuk.org
The face book page is bringing this to every bodies attention how could you fail and if you go to the bottom of the page you can buy all sorts of goodies that will help you even more with your quest to get your hands on a hand gun.
I wish you luck.
Blu has got the USA behind us you will have your hand guns back by the end of the year no worries. Don't worry that all these petitions in the past have fell on deaf ears this one will be different I am convinced of it.

You just gotta go over there and buy some thing to support them they are trying to reinstate your pistols. Forget the NRA forget BASC and all the old hat shooting organisations who have gone through the same old rigmarole in the past and failed give your money to these Guys they are going to make it work for you.

Facebook that's the answer why did we not realize this before and BLU of course don't forget BLU if we get it wrong he will bring the USA NRA in to help us out. Sorted.

Alpha 1, as state in my previous post "
you really have nothing to say" . Your last two immature posts only serve to reinforce that opinion. To avoid having to endure more of your drivel I've put you on ignore, type away ass hole :55:

1. It'll never work so whats the point of even trying?
2. I have no interest in shooting pistols so whats this got to do with me?
Anyone thinking either or both of these two statements should be ashamed of themselves. You either lack the guts to stand up and be counted in what is unquestionably going to be a hard fight (does that mean we shouldn't even make the effort anymore just because previous attempts have failed?!) or you appear to be a selfish parasite, happy to benefit off of the efforts made by others to help further the cause of shooting in the UK but unwilling to make even the most basic of efforts yourself.
The bloody thing takes 2 minutes to complete. TWO MINUTES?!
I will sign any and all pro-shooting petitions that come my way, whether I have an interest in that particular area of shooting or not. I have forwarded the link to all of my friends and family and asked them to sign it. I have posted it in every forum I frequent, facebooked it etc, it took about 20 minutes of my time.
Honestly, the general level of apathy, selfishness and short sightedness shown sometimes in this sport sickens me.

Thinking out loud at short notice - can we link the petition to the Euro elections and force politicians/wannabes to get onside or lose the shooting vote? Most wannabe Euro MPs have roundly ignored the BASC voting database and this would seem like a good means to flush them out of the woodwork.

Tomo, couldn't have put it better myself clapclap Our friend above there will probably come back and tell you he signed it which he did, not before he was called out on it though. He's one of the "I have
no interest in shooting pistols so whats this got to do with me?" brigade. Could be that this wasn't given enough exposure but still it's a bit dismal that out of around 800,000 people who shoot in the UK only thirteen some thousand signatures.
Just have to keep banging away at it no matter how long it takes to get 100,000 plus signatures. There are disciplines out there that don't interest me but I would never consider not supporting them regardless of what they were. Sportsmen/women everywhere either stand together or fall divided.
