Funnily enough have a look on google, turns out someone in the war actually did silence mp40's - prototype I think rather than entered into service!

I'd not ask £600 odd for my AIA, but I would like to get enough to cover the cost of an Uzi without putting any more cash towards it.

Good advice about looking for a second hand one, I'd definitely consider it. Tech guy pm coming your way ;-)

As far as the MP40....one of the reasons I'm after an Uzi is because my wife used to have one when serving in the Israeli army and I thought having a pop with one now might remind her of her youth . Owning a replica German WWII rifle wouldn't go down too well with her!
